A Buck Wild Thanksgiving

We went out the Farmhouse for Thanksgiving anticipating a low key, low stress day.

Cory went down to the river to find this...

 After a few hours of searching for hunters, Core went up to the little store and called non emergency 911. The dept sheriff came and they moved the deer over onto some wood so that the scavengers could get it.

 It made our Thanksgiving pretty exciting. We really did want someone to get some use out of the deer.  With no experience skinning anything we were not willing to take on a deer and it being Thanksgiving there was no place we could take it. So it is now up to nature to claim back the deer...

We were pretty impressed with how our meal turned out cooking it at the FH.
