Jackie Turns 2

Jackie had her second birthday celebration on Saturday. It's hard to believe just how much our little kiddos have grown in the past year
She loved everyone singing to her

Trick or Treat

Giving a Halloween cheer
Laurelea woke up this morning refusing to wear her Elmo Princess costume. Thankfully we had a Texas cheerleader outfit on hand. She was okay with this choice and wore it all day. Molly, Jacob, Lucy and Henry hosted a get together prior to heading out to trick or treat.

Boo at the Zoo 2012

Boo at the Zoo was so much fun this year! L really got into it and loved all the treats. In addition, Clay, Lonna and George came with which made it extra fun. Laurelea was an Elmo Princess. They had these big fluffy Elmo costumes, but that just didn't seem her style so she had to get a tutu version, which she loved! Here is a link from our trip last year.

A new addition to our family

Other than our very first blog post right after L was born, this is my all time second favorite. On Tuesday October 23rd, L became a cousin and most importantly Karli and Jason became parents to Talan James Goetz. He was exactly 7lbs and 20 inches long. Both he and his parents are doing well. They were released from the hospital yesterday evening and are enjoying their time at home getting to know each other. We head out to Seattle in just a few weeks and the time does not seem like it can go by fast enough. We love you Talan and are so excited to meet you! If you are interested in everything Talan please read Karli's blog at www.journeytooctober.blogspot.com

Port Discovery Children's Museum in Baltimore

On Saturday we went with Duder (Jeffery) and Meredith to the Port Discovery Children's Museum in Baltimore. Another friend in the neighborhood gave us a ticket so we thought we would try it out. They even have a Tot area for the wee ones. We were so impressed with all the exhibits and will have to make a return visit.
