Toddler New Years

Meredith, Dan and Duder had us all over for a New Years Party. It kicked off at 6 and by 8 we were bringing in the New Year toddler style. We said our toast and all headed on our way. It was a great party and we were excited to get to celebrate with L!

Snow!
We went out to see my close friend Tonya and meet her new son Iko and see Mazzy. The girls warmed up to each other, although it's hard to tell from this picture :)

Cousin Love

Alyson and Nick had us over for a play date. Neen got the girls matching jean outfits so we took the opportunity for a photo shoot.

Christmas at Neen's

We spent Christmas afternoon at Neen's. She prepared quite a feast and for the first time all the family was together on Christmas.
L really did love all the food
Neen prepared a beautiful place setting!

The girls could not get enough running. They would run up and down Neen's hallway

Caroline
We could not believe our luck, but we had a white Christmas in Dallas. Here is L checking out all the snow.

 This is one happy Grammy!

Before the presents we had to get in a little flying lesson!
Neen telling L about her new doll, Caroline from the American Doll Collection.

Caroline got this adorable chair for Christmas and it was a hit with the girls.

We took some 3 generation pictures. Here is one of Nick, Caroline, Neen and Alyson
We also attempted a self picture of us all... see if you can spot L.

Christmas Morning

Grammy and Grampy made Christmas morning so much fun. All of these gifts were for L. Overall, she did really well opening them. There were a few times where she was overwhelmed so we would take a break and come back to opening more. Grammy had special cup cake and Elmo wrapping, which to L were almost as good as the presents.

Cory and Chris found their old Letterman coats in the closet. It was so cold they actually both wore them out.

Christmas Eve

After nap on Christmas Eve we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Carlyle's house. They had quite a feast for us and L loved opening her gifts. After dinner they took us out to Addison to see this incredible light display.

Christmas in Dallas

We were in Dallas from December 21st through the 28th. It's hard to believe that we are home. We had such a great time seeing family and friends. Here is our attempt at capturing the highlights. A huge thanks to everyone who made our Christmas so special.

Grammy was so thoughtful and had all of L's favorite things to do ready to go.. so the first morning she and L colored!

We had a big party at Grammy's house on Saturday afternoon. Lots of friends and family came to see us, which made us feel so good.
