Will's First Bath

On Saturday we gave Will his first bath. Like his big sister, he was not a fan of it....It was a family affair...

 Laurelea was worried for him...

Nana got the snuggles and rewards for getting him out of the tub!

Will's Homecoming

On Friday morning we were released from the hospital and got to go home. It was pretty exciting as we were a little uncertain if they would discharge me early. The normal C-Section stay is 72 hours and as both Will and I were doing well, they agreed that if I promised to stay medicated (might have not been taking the big pain meds as I was worried about the transfer to him through breast milk) that they would let us go. So I popped a pain pill (which I'm thankful, I did) and we got released around noon.
Laurelea and Will early Friday morning
These are some cute kids-I think we will keep them :)
Laurelea got to pick out Will's going home outfit. Cory and Laurelea are getting Will ready to hit the road.
She picked the little fire engine set.
It was taking awhile for us to go through the discharge process so Papa got in a quick nap :)
 One happy big sister!
We ordered some neck pads... we didn't recall it being such a issue for Laurelea...

Laurelea, Nana and Papa decorated our house for our welcome!
The sign reads- Welcome home Mommy, Daddy and Will

Welcome Will Harrison Carlyle

Welcome to the world, Will Harrison Carlyle!  You were born on Wednesday, August 20th at 11:41 a.m. We were told that you were going to be a big boy and were surprised that you weighed only 8 lbs 6 oz and were 20 1/4 inches long! You came out screaming, which was a great sign and your Daddy got some incredible first shots of you. You are named after both of our sides of the family. Will is your Mom's maiden name and Harrison is your Grammy's maiden name.

You were already trying to turn over and this is the best shot of you on the scale.

In recovery was the first time that I got to hold you. You were got all cleaned up and I was still pretty dizzy so it took us awhile to get to nurse.
After a few hours in recovery, we were transferred to our own room and you got to meet your big sister Laurelea!

Nana and Papa came in after awhile
 Laurelea loved your little feet

This is the first chance that your big sister got to hold you.

 Nana got to hold you
 And Papa too

Laurelea is so gentle with you and loved you from the minute she laid eyes on you

Getting ready for baby boy Carlyle

Here are some pictures from the last few days prior to baby boy Carlyle's arrival....There are more to come from Nana and Papa's camera, but I wanted to get these posted. I got a new camera as an anniversary and push present so we needed to try it out as well and have the perfect subject :)
