Carlyle Camp Out

We hosted the second Carlyle Camp Out! We missed last year as I was pregnant but we were back in full effect this last weekend. We had 6 families out the farm house, which means there were 24 in all! It was a lot of fun, we fished, played by the river, tubed and enjoyed the wild and wonderful WV. Things did take a tad bit of a turn when our toilet stopped working. It turned very rustic, very quickly. Thanks to everyone who made it out! Here's the link to some pics from our first camp out.
In the kayak is- Allister, Henry, Jackie, Zinnia, Naomi, L, and Harrison

Will-9 Months

Sorry little dude, but it's been awhile since I posted a monthly/quarterly update. You are one little man on the move and that has drastically shifted our lives over the last few months. You are crawling, pulling up and frankly everywhere all the time!

You  still smile incessantly, and are still enamored with your sister. Other than meal time and bedtime you are an all around happy little dude. You do fuss when the food is not in your mouth quickly enough and or you need your rest. You thankfully have transitioned to the crib and sleeping through the night. Lots of effort on your Dad's part to make this happen.

You still eat all the time! You are still on a pretty mashed up diet, but are trying to pick and eat things with your fingers.  We are amazed that you don't weight more, as you eat more than any small child we have come across. At your 9 month visit you were 19.6 lbs, or int he 25%  which is still on the small side.

Bath time is one of your favorite things. You just love the water and to splash and kick around. The pool is also pretty fun.

You are just so happy,  and we couldn't be luckier to have you in the family.

Happy Nine Months, Will Harrison!

Graduation- Dallas Style!

We traveled to Dallas May 12th through 16th. Chris graduated room UNT and we went down to celebrate him and spend time with family. It was loads of fun and we got to see tons of family and friends at his graduation party!

I found this at Vicki's and thought it was just the cutest!
We had to hit Starbucks- L's first Frap

This was the first time that Luke and Will had met

We attempted to get a cute pic of the four kids

 This is probably the best

We thought it would be funny to take a picture of Luke and L to send to family to see if they would notice it wasn't Will

Congratulations Chris, we are really proud of you and best of luck this Fall at grad school.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was pretty special this year. L and Will both made me something ever so sweet. Loved all the thought from L and of course- Nubia and Sulma. I also got an amazing new blender that I'm in love with. We spent the weekend at the farmhouse and it was the perfect way to have Mother's Day and some quality family time.
