Phone Picture Update

We take a lot of pictures with our phones so here are some highlights from the last couple of months.

Celebrating Cory

Cory turned another year older yesterday. It was so nice to get to celebrate with Grammy and of course L.

Laurelea has had a crazy fascination with food over the last week or so. This morning we had waffles and fruit for Cory's birthday breakfast. Someone else decided it was breakfast time for her as well...

So proud of herself....she loved feeling like she was getting away with something..

Giggles for Daddy

After feeling like a goof ball for the last month or so, something has finally struck a cord and we are FUNNY! Cory is especially hilarious as you can see from the video below.

Cory's First Father's Day

We had a great day! It started off so well as L let us sleep in until 6:30. She knew it was Father's Day. We had a nice breakfast here at the house and then after L's morning nap we headed down to Cantler's. It was really busy but we eventually got a table and enjoyed a delicious meal. I don't think I've ever had better crab cakes.

Up to all sorts of new tricks

We have had an eventful week. We went to the doctors on Monday for L's 4 month check up. She is just over 15 pounds, still in the high 70th percentile for weight and height and her head is still a whopper in the 90th percentile. Grammy helped us realize that she needed something to help sooth her when going to sleep so she now sleeps with her favorite toy Sophie (the French giraffe) and a burp rag. Naps are much easier. She is also working on her fine motor skills and is into everything. She can hold her rattles, and other chew toys. I've been instructed to call them teethers, but really in my mind they are still chew toys. She is really into her books right now. When you try to help her turn the pages she gets upset and yells at you. She also has started to blow bubbles and can mimic some sounds.

Pretty proud of herself that she can turn the page

Grammy got L some new shades. She figured out how to pull her old ones off, so it is time for a new pair. She was showing them off to Daddy in this picture.

She can still suck her thumb with shades on

Reunited and it feels so good....

It has been way too long since L and Fiona had some quality hang out time. Fiona and her parents came over to catch up yesterday evening. The girls were so excited to see each other. Fiona even rolled over for the second time on L's play mat.

There was an official stare down just to make certain that they recognized each other

Fiona kept L close by making sure they would not be seperated again
