Our little Bee is officially a toddler. It has been so exciting to see all that she has learned this month. Our favorite development is she can now say "up" and "down". This has revolutionized our world as we can better understand her wishes and requests. We tried to count the other day and we think she can say 12 words. After Mama and Daddy her favorite word is Papa. She loves to go into the second bedroom and find pictures of her Papa. She points to him and often kisses his picture. L has a very special love for her Papa.
She also adores shoes (yes, she is mine!) and one morning this month we walked into get her and the first thing out of her little mouth was "shoos". So she put her shoes on over her P.J.'s.
She also loves her "birdies". Cory and L spend most mornings out in the backyard watching the "birdies". We have an outdoor lover. She hates to have to come back inside. If she could, she would spend ever second of every day outside playing in the yard.
This month she started eating gluten. She loves this change as she can now eat a lot of what the other kids are eating at daycare.
We've had quite a busy month, and overall a very healthy one. Our little Bee is building her immune system and getting stronger by the minute.
We love you Laurelea, and look forward to all the fun adventures in Maine and with family this next month.
Notice the barrette. She loves to have this in her hair (although it is difficult to find the hair to put it on) |
"oh hey, Mom.. were you hoping to get a picture?" |
