126 Years of Hyattsville

Yesterday, we went to the Hyattsville City parade. The city is celebrating 126 years and we were there to witness it. Nubia's son, Brian marched in the parade and we were excited to see him with his safety patrol. It was fun to see folks we know in the parade and cheer them on.

 Hyattsville put on quite the firework show last night. We were amazed that the show did not wake up Laurelea. Our house backs up to the park so we were able to watch the display from our back porch. Heather came over to join us as the girls were both down by the time the show started.
