Before and after and some beer

Before
Today was a day we dedicated to painting the deck. It was long over due, and after scrubbing, filling in the gaps, we were ready to paint. We had a baby sitter come over to help watch L so we could tackle this project. We are pretty happy with the results.

After

 To celebrate we headed to a Beer garden in DC. We've been wanting to go there for sometime. It was fun but not the kid friendly environment that we are accustomed to in our neck of woods.

      Thanks! It was a lot easier to talk about it and plan to do it than actually refinishing it. Why is that always the case?

    deck looks awestom! Check out the Old stein Inn in Edgewater, maryland sometime. It's a little ways out but really great!
