Our Sugar Bee is 9 months old! Her birthday was actually last week while we were in Austin, so we're just a tad late in updating the blog. She was showered with birthday gifts from her Auntie Karli, Uncle Jason, Nana, Papa, Grammy, Neen, Grandma and Grandpa. She is one lucky little girl.
Laurelea has made tons of developmental strides this month. She no longer scooches around (which I miss) -- She is all about crawling but even more into walking with assistance. She will put her arms up to you and or take your fingers so you can help her get around. She even stood for the first time unassisted. She is still a little leery of this though. We are convinced that she makes the association of Mama and Dada with us. I would guess about 50 % of the time it feels directed at us the other 50% we are just hoping that is what she is intending. She also loves saying Nana and thinks she is pretty cute with her little laugh. She is still all about the open mouth kisses and really has developed a love for reading this month. We had quite the scare down in Austin which ended us in the ER as she was running a high fever. We have decided to put in tubes to try to rid her of her persistent ear infection. These next few weeks are going to be tough, but we love you lots and lots Sugar Bee and know that you are going to feel much better in just a short time. Big hugs!
