Zoo with the Crew

On Monday of last week we went to the Zoo with Talan and L. They both loved checking out all the animals but the highlight was the Sea Otters.

 A new section has opened up at the Zoo call the American Trail. It was so neat and both the kids loved playing with the Sea Otters...

After the American Trail we headed over to Amazonia. I raved about how cool this was..

We spotted this odd looking bird and Karli took a picture.

 Next thing we knew the bird charged us

 It was pretty horrible as I jumped back and then realized that L was till there. Thankfully I got to her in time, but the bird was miffed that we were standing on it's rail.

L said, "wow the bird got me"

 Uncle Jason wanted to check out the Orangatang walk. We lucked out and they were out.

 George the donkey was out for a stroll and L got to pet him.

 After we got home from the Zoo Talan wasn't looking to good so Jason and Karli took him to Urgent Care.

Poor little guy had an ear infection 

So we spent the afternoon playing in the back yard...
