Easter Adventures

Laurelea and I dyed our own eggs on Saturday morning.

someone was pretty proud of herself. She loved dying the eggs and decorating them with princess stickers from Grammy.

 Next on our adventures of Saturday was a trip to see the Easter Bunny and Egg hunt at MaGruder Park. This is our third trip to see him. Here are the highlights from the last couple of years; 2011 and 2012. Pretty crazy that L has been able to celebrate 3 Easter's in her life.

 Laurelea probably had the most fun, cracking the Easter eggs and eating them. Before we left for the park she had eaten 4 of the 6 that we made :)

After the breakfast we went out to the Easter dance party at the park. This is L checking out the bunny. 

I was pretty shocked that she got so close to him.

 This is the first year that we have done the egg hunt. The two other times we had to miss it because of morning nap.

L did a great job finding her eggs and putting them in her basket

her favorite part was that she found a lollipop. She also got her finger nails painted!

Rowan is L's new friend at day care. He comes twice a week and they are pretty attached. They held hands for probably 5 minutes or so and in the toddler world this is quite a thing.
