We headed out on a holiday hike to Great Falls (MD side) and triumphed over the Billy Goat Trail! We heard lots of folks commenting that they needed to stop complaining "as these ladies have babies on their backs," or "gosh they are brave." Cory and I have done this hike before and were a little surprised at how much longer it took to do the hike. Guess having babies will do that to you, that or deciding to take them on your backs!

Great pics! Looks like a lovely day! I love the Billy Goat Trail but I'm sure it would be exponentially different with a baby. We were just talking about that this weekend... if you try Old Rag in Shenandoah, let us know 'cause we figured that one would have to wait until Jack's a teen : )
ReplyDeleteI think the next hike on our list is something a little less "serious". We opted for extreme on our first hike with the babies so I think we need to scale it down a little. Maybe we will head to Harpers Ferry. If we make it out to Old Rag we will be certain to let you know, or better yet we will wait for you guys to visit and will try this all together :)
