In our neighborhood I'm a part of a mom's group that meets every week. We hosted this last week and learned that every other newborn sleeps during the day. We initially struggled with how to get our adorable Laurelea to sleep, and ended up figuring she just didn't sleep during the day. Apparently, it's not as easy as laying her down and hoping that she will fall asleep. Some other moms recommended two good books so we had them overnighted to us and started creating this routine for L yesterday. Cory and I have never been so exhausted, but today has gone much better and we are learning that our little one can sleep during the day!
We will be better this week about capturing more pictures but this routine thing is pretty consuming.
