Cory and Laurelea go to Texas

The weekend of October 10th Laurelea and Cory went to Texas for the State Fair. This was just a trip that they took together and Will and I stayed home and hung out with Marty and Laura (see previous post). Cory has always wanted to take L to the State Fair and in her world it was all that her Dad made it out to be. She absolutely loved it and enjoyed her weekend with family and friends. Plus, now that she knows the ropes, she can show Will around!

Cory, Vicki and Laurelea met up with Brad, Joy, their daughter Brynn, Brad's folks, Pam and George, then Blake, Jennipher and their two kids, Coleman and Megan.

Will and I wish that we could have been there to see everyone, but I know Laurelea loved her one on one time with family and friends.

Marty and Laura come to visit

My uncle Marty and his wife Laura came to meet Will and tour the DC area. It was Laura's first trip out to the east coast. She managed to tough her foot in MD, DC, WV, PA. An impressive feet for only being here over a week. Over the weekend of Oct 11th we went out to the farmhouse for the Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs. Will was not feeling all that well, which we would later learn was a result of Bronchitis (more on that to come)... but they were troopers and tolerated his fussiness over our weekend adventures. Family Trip to the FH

I'm a little behind on the blog... we took a trip out to the farmhouse the week of October 4th. It was great to get away just the four of us. Here are a few pics from the trip. The leaves were starting to turn and were just incredible out there.

I don't know if I remember laughing so hard as Karli and I did when we looked through these pictures. We had the kids do some silly faces to keep them entertained while we were taking family/sibling  pictures. Most of these are pretty priceless and it's hard to determine which is my favorite!
