Will went through several tests last week a sweat test and an upper GI test and he was a little trooper. The best part is that all came back negative for what we were testing for!!! The upper GI was a tough go as the hospital lost power just after we arrived, so instead of fasting for 4 hours it was more like 5.5 hours. So our little guy was so hungry, and we felt so badly for him...
Sweating it out!
back home showing us his moves! he can now get up on all fours

Baby Play Date
On Sunday we had Heather, Eric and baby Hudson over for brunch and a play date! It was Will's first official play date, intended just for him! He loved it and Laurelea did a great job setting up the baby play area and playing with the boys! Heather is a dear friend from grad school and her little dude is just so adorable and I'm excited to see our little guys grow up together!

National Pie Day, Work Friends and I'm Famous
On Saturday we woke up early and I decided to make a strawberry pie. Laurelea quickly reminded me once she woke up that I'd promised her that we would make a pie together, so in the evening she and I made another pie. She came up with a great idea to cut out shapes for the top from cookie cutters..
Pie #1
Pie #2Will and I had lunch with a close work friend- Maryellen. She was in from NM!
This week I also managed to make the front page of the local paper. Lonna started a new instagram account for the hood that outlines the daily lives of folks that live in our hood. So I'm famous by proxy and if you are not following @ourhyattsville on Instrgram, you should!
An Update on Will
Will came down with a double ear infection and another bout of Asthma over a week ago. It hit hard and so we put our little dude on steroids and I stayed home with him last week. He was a baby on roids and really wound up all week vacillating from extreme happiness to anger. He is generally pretty chill, so it was quite the difference. He also does not sleep well when on steroids and was up every few hours to eat. We went to our pulmonary specialist on Friday and it's been determined that he needs to go on additional medication (Singular) and do some additional testing to rule out other scary things like cystic fibrosis and some possible upper GI issues. We have those test this week Thursday and Friday, and are hopeful that all will be in order and we can continue on our current regiment. If not, we will tackle that hurdle.

The last two weeks
Have gone by in a blur. Between 3 snowstorms, endless school closures, a bout of the stomach bug, ear infections, rabies shots and overall children in foul moods we still managed to have some fun :)

It warmed up one day so L and I had a picnic on the back deck

This is a two week supply of food for Will
