Yesterday we had the annual Sunshine Egg Hunt! It was a lot of fun and the kids just loved running around searching for eggs. They are all getting bigger and so much more into this year!
Garance and L ready to go!
Peeking in to see all the eggs

She actually let the bunny give her an egg

Baby Boy Carlyle's 20 Week Sonogram Update
We had our 20 week sonogram last week and our little fella is doing just great! Everything is developing on target and is doing what it needs to be doing. He is measuring at 96.4% which means there is reason why I'm feeling huge as this little bugger is quite big compared to Laurelea at this age.
There are some things that they are going to watch with me and I have an appointment with a specialist in a few weeks to look at things in more detail. They found during the sonogram that I have marginal cord insertion, which to me is translated as a 'wonky cord'. This likely could mean that I have to have a C-section as there are some complications with trying to have a vaginal birth with this condition. They are also concerned about the long term effects of me having another vaginal birth as L came out sunny side up and that could very likely happen again, causing some long term damages to me... So the good part about this is that it looks like we will be monitored closely and that they found these things early on to keep a close eye on us both. The big question seems to be, how we are going to get this little guy out?
His development is not affected by my 'wonky cord' so that is the best part!
Here are some pictures of Scooter at 21 weeks and a day!

Easter 2014
Easter for us started off on a different note. L and I came down with some horrible funk in the middle of the night. Thankfully, she recovered quickly, while I was out for most of the day. Cory got hit with it later in the afternoon, once I started to feel a little more human. Laurelea was pretty concerned about us, but I think considering the illness that had taken over our house, we manged to have a fun Easter.
Opening up her Easter treasures from Nana and Papa
She found her basket!
And was pretty thrilled with her new roller blades and pads
Trying them out in the house
Time to color some eggs with Dad
The end product!
While she was napping that silly Easter bunny came back and hid her eggs around the yard
There was even one in her chives
Today is the Easter Egg hunt at day care. Here is a sneak peek of her in her attire from Grammy!

Hyattsville Egg Hunt
On Saturday, we attended the Hyattsville Egg Hunt. Laurelea was a hit in her Easter dress from Nana and Papa. She was so excited to wear her outfit and insisted on wearing her gloves for most of the morning. Here is the link from last year's festivities.
Getting her gloves ready for the event!
Love this picture!
hitting the scene
Waiting for pancakes (the gloves stayed on throughout the meal)
Cory and Henry and ready to grub
swinging
Getting ready for the egg hunt
Rowan wanting to hold her hand...
Check out the picture from last year of them holding hands....
This hut is a thing... check out the number of people!
L and Harrison are ready to go!
We might have just let them over the gate rather than having them go through where the rest of the kids went...
Her loot! She was so excited with all her eggs and we were thankful that we did a run through in the morning (not that she has competitive parents)
This is just nuts! I still can't believe that she let this happen. She was not a fan of the bunny all morning but....

The feast.. we had 30 lbs of crawfish flown in
John (Rowan's Dad) showing the kids the crawfish
First batch
Kids playing
watching the fireworks from left to right is Skye, Jackie and L
The entire firework watching crew
It was pretty loud, but the kids did great overall
