1 month old- Will

Wow Bubba you are already a month old. I don't know how that nickname started, but it has stuck. You are either Bub or Bubba. You are becoming more and more alert each day. You are an amazing little baby. You really do go with the flow, you can sleep through a lot of noise during the day and are generally pretty chill. You get up anywhere between 3 and 4 times to nurse throughout the night, but we seem to be in somewhat of a "routine" and thankfully, you go back to sleep once you have had your fill. You like a few morning naps and are starting to take to the swing. You are quite the little love, so if you had your preference you would be held at all times and would prefer to sleep on someone. We try to strike a balance as we need you to sleep some on your own, but we love your hugs too and so it's hard to put you down.You have a lot of funny grunting noises that you make. We call you our "little old man" as you grunt your stuff all the time and fidget and move if you are not comfortable.

We'd guess you are probably just over 9 pounds and around 22 inches long. Your feet are huge and you are already growing out of newborn clothes as your toes get curled up and you can't stretch out your legs.

So far we have not been swaddling you as you really do like to sleep with your arms above your head.

You are very tolerant of your sister and all the attention that she gives you.

So like we did with your sister- let the Woody pictures begin. Woody is a family favorite stuffed dog that was given to me the day I was born from Laurelea's namesake- my Auntie Laurie. I had my picture taken with Woody as I was growing up and it's a family tradition that continues to you, Will!
