Wild and Wonderful Fishing!!!!

Cory and Chris spent a lot of time in hunt of the perfect fishing spot. This was day one of the journey.

View up river from their fishing spot

Laurelea and I had to come down and see what this fishing thing was all about
First time in a river! She did not even cry and it was crazy cold. She loves the water.
Day 2, Cory catches 2 fish. The first one was twice as big but right as he was bringing it in it got away.
 It's a Fallfish

Wild and Wonderful Photo Opportunity

Gramma Titch and Great Aunt Vivian gave Laurelea her first pair of moccassins. We brought them up with us to the WV as it seemed most fitting to have a photo shoot with her next to a fire.

Wild and Wonderful Sight Seeing

On Monday we headed out to see the local sights.

Laurelea was showing me her mad skills of now being able to stick two fingers in her mouth. So talented and we are so proud.

We drove up to Spruce Knob, which as you can see is the highest point in the WV
We took L on her first little hike

She was not so certain about this hiking thing...

Wild and Wonderful WV Vacation

We just got home from an amazing trip out to Harman's North Fork Cabins. We've been going there for several years with a crew of our close friends over MLK weekend. As L was due shortly after MLK weekend this year we opted to try our luck with May. It was a great way to start off Mother's Day and spend some quality time with Uncle Chris.
