23 Months!

Laurelea you have been quite the trooper this month. Even with a stomach bug, we flew to Dallas to spend time with family and friends over the holidays. You entertained everyone with your running and smiles. One of my favorite things you say all the time when you are running, is "I'm running", "I'm running". You have also started to put words together and most of the time, it makes sense. 

You still love dolls and we even bribed you this month to sit down with Woody and show your dolls how you like to sit with Woody. You are a great little Mom to your dollies and always show them what to do.

You probably weigh 30 plus pounds. We have not been to the pediatrician in a bit (thankfully), but you do feel heavier. Your hair is also really growing, especially in the back. Most days you have the most adorable curl right in the middle of your hair. Maybe during your second year you will get your first hair cut?

This month you have been really into play dough and coloring. You love the texture of the play dough and making shapes with it. You also are a master of drawing circles. 

The highlight for you this month has been the addition of "Dice" into our family. Dice is what you call your trike. I'm not entirely certain how you came up with this I think it's a combination between trike and bicycle. Regardless you love your Dice, and a huge thanks to Neen for Dice. 

We thought for certain that by this time you would be weened. Unfortunately, or fortunately we have a boobie addict. I don't think you are getting much from me these days, but it is a part of our routine and it does calm you down before you go to bed, so for now we will stick with it. 

It's hard to imagine that next month you will be two.... We love you Laurelea and can't wait for all the fun adventures this next month will bring.
