We have had an eventful week. We went to the doctors on Monday for L's 4 month check up. She is just over 15 pounds, still in the high 70th percentile for weight and height and her head is still a whopper in the 90th percentile. Grammy helped us realize that she needed something to help sooth her when going to sleep so she now sleeps with her favorite toy Sophie (the French giraffe) and a burp rag. Naps are much easier. She is also working on her fine motor skills and is into everything. She can hold her rattles, and other chew toys. I've been instructed to call them teethers, but really in my mind they are still chew toys. She is really into her books right now. When you try to help her turn the pages she gets upset and yells at you. She also has started to blow bubbles and can mimic some sounds.

Pulling the book away from me when I was trying to help |

Pretty proud of herself that she can turn the page |

Grammy got L some new shades. She figured out how to pull her old ones off, so it is time for a new pair. She was showing them off to Daddy in this picture. |

She can still suck her thumb with shades on |
