Hyattsville Parade and Fair

Yesterday we headed over to the Hyattsville parade and fair. Cory worked in the yard so L and I just headed over. This is our third time to the fair. Check out how much still says the same about the event, but our little kiddo just seems to be the only changing element, especially a two year gap.. 2012

She has no idea who Sponge Bob is..

Waiting for the parade to start

 The boat ride
 riding the airplanes with Jeffy
This was a little more of a ride than we all expected. The kids did great, we were a little panicked for them..

This week we had a shed built in the back yard. This is what it looks like!

Weekend in Review

We had a fun weekend that started off with Laurelea's first movie night at her dear friend George's house. We had popcorn and pizza and watched the movie Frozen. She lasted all of 20 minutes before she was asking if she could go outside...Then we headed to Kailen's first birthday party and after that up to the farmhouse for a night. Here are some of the highlights:

L and Henry getting ready for the film to start..

 L and George

There were tons of people at Kai's party. Here is a look out over the crowd!
 Such a cute theme!
On the way home from the farmhouse we had hopefully our last run in with snow for the season. We can't believe how brutal this Winter has been.  L's favorite new chat is "we want Spring, no more snow"

First Live Sporting Event

Might sound crazy, but on Sunday we went to Laurelea's first live sporting event. The lady longhorns were playing in the first round of the NCAA  basketball games in College Park. We were ready to go at 9, and the game did not start until 3 p.m. We had one excited little 3 year old and she really did great, considering no nap. She loved the clapping part, and maybe was an equal opportunity clapper :)

Oh we have one ready to go little cutie!

 The band!

 Cheering

trying out the headphones to see if they helped with noise. she actually did great with the noise!
