We know an honor roll student

Here is Jackie and her honor roll certificate
On Saturday we had a day of celebration for Jackie. We are so proud of our little friend who got on the honor roll. We know how much work she has done and we are all so proud of her accomplishment. We had a day of celebration that started at the Art Works studio in Mt. Rainier.

Next stop was Elevation Burger for some honor roll lunch. Avery and Esther joined us for all the festivities.

Next stop was to frozen yogurt where Jackie got to pick out her own frozen yogurt and toppings.
We came home and the girls played dress up!

Great job Jackie! We loved celebrating with you!

Farewell to the Clarks

Molly, Jacob, Lucy Lou and Henry came over for one of their last meals in DC before moving to Seattle. Molly took a new job at Seattle University. We will miss them tons. Here are a few pictures from our last little get together.

We've got HAIR!

Pony tail (some might classify this as a rat tail, but we are saying pony tail)
This warrants it's own post... Laurelea has enough hair to now be able to wear both pig tails and a pony tail.

Day care managed to get her hair in pig tails. We have not mastered this at home yet.

Lucy's 3rd Birthday Costume Party

L went as a princess fairy. This was a special gift from Neen
Lucy had her 3rd birthday party celebration on Sunday. It was bitter sweet as the Clark's move this week to Seattle. We will miss them tons and are sad to see them go.

Joyful Jumps

Yesterday we took L to Joyful Jumps. It's this facility that has 10 bounce houses inside. We really didn't know how she would do and thought she would stick to the younger options. L was a little trooper and really had no fear. She climbed up this really steep bounce house and went down the slide all by herself. I think we might have a Joyful Jump addict on our hands. It was a fun day with Nana and Papa!

I know it's blurry, but this is her going down the big slide by herself. It was super steep.

Museum of American History

checking out the trains
On Sunday we all headed down to the museum of American History. We thought L would like the cars and trains exhibit. She did lots better once she was up on Daddy's shoulders. It was a busy day down at the mall and we forgot how crowded the museums can be on the weekend.
