L received a b-day gift in the mail on Friday from Cousin Caroline..

Then she tore into the wrapping paper

So excited!

She could not get into her new present soon enough

Everyone was convinced that L would be walking before her first birthday. She's been doing great walking between us but up until Friday did not walk towards any objects. Leave it to her with just under a week to go she has mastered walking! So she can now stand from a sitting position without pulling up and also get in and out of her new rocking chair without assistance. She loves her chair, thanks Grandpa and Grandma!

Bitty, Bitty, Bop

Laurelea received her first American Girl doll in the mail from Neen. We call her Bitty, Bitty, Bop as she is a Bitty Doll L loves her and it was the perfect pick me up as she has been under the weather fighting a cold/flu since Wednesday.
