It's time....

On Sunday we really started to decorate- at the tree lot-L found this little tree and had to have it :)

New Orleans or Bust

L had the week off from school so we headed to New Orleans to see Tonya and her family. L was so excited to see Mazzy that she had a count down going on our calendar. The two are just inseparable and it was so fun to see them

My Birthday and Thanksgiving Celebration at L's School

Okay, I know I'm biased, but isn't her first school picture just the cutest!

 We got a tree from Neen this year- one of three, more to come on this. And even before my birthday we were ready!

 it's finally starting to feel like fall- Bubba had to wear a hat!

 For my birthday celebration we had some friends over for a fancy  dinner- it was a blast and I loved getting the table and fixings all ready.

 L's class did a short song and pizza celebration in her class for thanksgiving

 We were so proud of L- she got to bring home this special plate as she did something above and beyond in school

Gentle Zoo

We went up to Forney to check out the Gentle Zoo on Saturday. Cory was still in DC for work so just the kids and I went with Jen and her boys. 


They had this giant bounce blob that the kids went nuts over

 Will's been having some health problems, so it was advised that he not have much physical exercise... probably not the best of ideas to bring him to the Gentle Zoo, but we learn and move on..

Halloween

We had a super fun Halloween. We co-hosted a party the day before, and had spooky treats and activities for the kids. Halloween night was extra special as we had some friends over for dinner and then headed out trick or treating in the golf cart. It was extra special as Grammy joined us for her first Halloween with the kids!
